Visiting from another State, and needed a night cap to help me sleep. Great Atmosphere and friendly staff. Nobody bothered me either. Beer was 4.00, and I thought that was cheap despite it being Chicago and I only pay 3.25 at home. Would definitely recommend
Simple no frills bar attached to a liquor store. Pleasant crowd, great bartender, and super drink prices. And as a bonus, it was a great place to watch the game and everything was remarkably clean, even the bathroom!
I read enough reviews of this place I had to visit. I was really hoping for a dive bar but their bathrooms are far too nice. We were treated with 5 star quality and the drinks were stiffer than if I ate a viagra. Really wish I could have been sworn at a few times but they definitely pass the test as a bar that I could feel at home in.
A true neighborhood establishment. There are not many places like Bruno's left. Bottled beer. No draft. Most everyone knows each other. Loyola students mingle comfortably with regulars. Good bartenders. Plenty of tv's. If you are looking for a fancy drink, don't bother.
First time in Chicago, we stopped in the first night we were there and they treated us like family. Had the best conversations and the environment was perfect. I will always stop in when I visit! Thank you!
Best and oldest neighborhood Bar in Roger's Park. One of it's unique attributes is that it's one of the few remaining Bar / Package Goods locations where you can sit and have a beer, chat with Matt or Tim and then grab a sixer and a half gallon of milk to go. Family owned and operated by the Roti's it's been a Roger's park staple for over 65 years. RIght across the street for Loyola on Sheridan Rd. and steps from the Loyola L stop it's all about location. You'll notice that the building itself doesnt look much like the rest around it, but when I was a kid and Bruno was running the place, the whole block looked exactly like that building, From the L station down to Theil's Pharmacy on the corner of Albion. Inside the recent remodel makes the bar THE place to be on Friday night, or wednesday afternoon too. The Bathrooms look nicer than those at Holiday inn down the street. You shoulda seen em before. Two Thumbs Up!

Don't expect a unique and crafted experience, just go for a cheap drink with friendly service.
Great vibes! Even the liquor store that’s connected (closed at 12 midnight) offers a great variety of spirits, wine and beers! Awesome customer service!
